AIT Statement on Earthquake in Southern Taiwan
On behalf of the people of the United States, the American Institute in Taiwan offers our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to all of those affected by today's earthquake in southern Taiwan. We also commend the emergency personnel who continue working to rescue and assist victims of this natural disaster. The United States is ready to work with Taiwan to provide assistance and support as needed. The American people stand with the people of Taiwan during this difficult time. ‎

美國在台協會代表美國人民，向南台灣的地震災民表達我們的沈痛哀悼與誠摯慰問。我們感佩救災人員持續努力地搶救並協助災民。美國也隨時準備好與台灣合作，以提供所需的協助與支援。美國人民願與台灣人民並肩，一起挺過此艱難時刻。
