賴總統僑宴致詞全文

美國各界貴賓、中華民國台灣、兩位國策顧問、僑務委員，以及來自美國各地的僑胞朋友，現場所有好朋友，大家晚安、大家好，ALOHA！
這是我5月20號上任以來，第一次出訪到馬紹爾群島、吐瓦魯以及帛琉共和國等友邦，並且過境夏威夷和關島，感謝各位僑胞不遠千里來到這裡相聚，我們都是Team Taiwan，台灣尚勇。
感謝美國秉持安全、尊嚴、舒適、方便的原則提供協助，讓此次訪問順利成行。我很高興這次出訪的第一站，就是來到夏威夷。感謝AIT執行理事Ingrid Larson的溫暖歡迎，也感謝夏威夷州長Josh Green及夏威夷州政府的熱情接待。
I’m grateful to the United States for its assistance and support, provided under the principles of safety, dignity, comfort, and convenience, which ensured the success of this trip. I’m especially delighted that the first stop of this visit is Hawaii. I want to sincerely thank AIT Managing Director Ingrid Larson for her warm welcome, as well as to Governor Josh Green and the Hawaii state government for their wonderful hospitality.
我今天早上拜訪了畢夏普博物館、夏威夷急難管理署以及亞利桑那號戰艦紀念館，今天晚上也很高興可以大家見面，非常感謝Ingrid, Lieutenant Governor Luke, Speaker Nakamura, Representatives Tokuda and Case, and distinguished guests 出席，也感謝僑胞熱情參與。

ening. I want to thank Ingrid, Lieutenant Governor Luke, And speaker Nakamura, Representatives Tokuda and Case, and distinguished guests for joining us. I also deeply appreciate our overseas Taiwanese communities’ passionate support.

非常感謝大家！

我很榮幸能夠代表台灣人民從議長手中接下美國國旗跟夏威夷州州旗這份厚禮，這份禮物相當有意義，它代表台灣跟美國這兩個長期盟友堅若磐石的情誼，也奠定未來進一步的合作。我們今天參訪亞利桑那號戰艦紀念館，更是提醒了我們確保和平的重要性，和平無價，戰爭沒有贏家，我們必須共同努力，攜手防止戰爭的發生。
I’m deeply honored to accept the generous gift of the U.S. flag and the Hawaii state flag from Speaker Nakamura on behalf of the people of Taiwan. This meaningful gift symbolizes the longstanding friendship between Taiwan and the United States, and lays the foundation for further collaboration in the future. Our visit to the Memorial today in particular reminds us of the importance of ensuring peace. Peace is priceless, and war has no winners, we have to fight, fight together to prevent war.
這個州旗也代表接下來來台灣跟夏威夷的關係，將更加的親近緊密，特別是我們都擁有南島文化、是一家人，夏威夷州和台灣都是漂亮的島嶼，會面臨各種天災的挑戰，期盼未來我們可以在許多面向加深交流，今天的儀式也是一種對未來合作的承諾。
The Hawaii state flag also represents the closer and stronger ties that Taiwan and Hawaii will share moving forward. With our shared Austronesian heritage, we are like family. Both Hawaii and Taiwan are also beautiful islands that face challenges from natural disasters, and I look forward to deepening our exchanges in various areas. Today’s ceremony is also a testament to our shared commitment to future cooperation.
各位台胞朋友、各位台灣同鄉，很感謝你們今天出席，我很感動、我非常感動。我看到有來自當地的僑務委員，也有來自紐約的莊國策顧問，也有來自LA（洛杉磯），我們各位好朋友，我非常感謝大家。
大家聽前面幾位貴賓的致詞，大家應該很清楚，台灣經過這麼多年打拚，國際社會對台灣是肯定的，認為台灣的民主是可以當成國際社會的典範，認為台灣的科技與經濟可以幫助世界進一步發展，台灣的善心、樂善好施的精神，也受到夏威夷以及國際社會的肯定。我們台灣的未來，只要團結，一定可以克服各種的困難，台灣一定能夠越來越好。
我想這次，我們棒球代表隊參加12強棒球比賽，可以得到世界冠軍，一開始大家都不看好，但是最後我們拿下冠軍，猶如過去國際社會不看好台灣，但只要我們打拚、團結，我們一定可以得到國際社會更大的肯定與稱讚。
